Nguyen Hung

Ambassador of Vietnam Embassy of Vietnam in Poland

Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Republic of Poland.

With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Mr. Nguyen Hung worked as an Expert in the Department of Eastern Europe – Central Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). Over the next three years, he was the Attaché at the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation. From 1996 to 2002 he worked as an Expert in the Department of Europe 1 at MOFA. From 2002 to 2005 he was the Second Secretary at the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation. From 2006 to 2009 he was an Expert and Head of Division at Department of Europe 1, MOFA. From 2009 till 2019 he was a Minister – Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Vietnam in the Russian Federation. From 2016 to 07/2020 he was the Deputy Director in the Department of Europe at the MOFA.

Mr. Nguyen Hung started his assignment as the Ambassador of Vietnam to Poland in July 2020.

Ambassador Nguyen Hung is married and has two children.
