He graduated from the Lodz University of Technology. He is a figure of particular merit to Suwalki, the Suwalki region, the engineering and technical community, entrepreneurs and Suwalki sport. From 1976 to 1979, he was the deputy mayor of Suwalki. He then managed the Polam-Farel lighting equipment plant in Suwalki, which he had created from scratch. From 1983 to 1998, he was the director of the Polam-Suwalki plant, and from 1989 to 2005, he was the president of the management board of Litpol Ltd. and Malow Ltd. President of the Management Board of Litpol sp. z o.o. and President of the Management Board of Malow sp. z o.o. Since 2005, he has been the owner of Malow sp. z o.o. His great passion is economic, social and innovative activity. He is one of the co-founders of the Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (SIMP). For many years, he has been involved in the economic life of the city as a member of the Economic Council to the Mayor of Suwalki.
He is a member of the Business Centre Club convention, the Podlasie Entrepreneurship Council at the Marshal of the Podlasie Voivodship, and the Chairman of the Programme Council of the Poland-East Science and Technology Park in Suwalki. As the owner of Malow, he has been supporting the activities of numerous organisations, associations and institutions working for the development of sport for many years. He was one of the co-founders of the Suwalki Badminton Club Litpol-Malow. He sponsors the second league Suwalki Sports Club Wigry and the first league volleyball team Slepsk Suwalki. He has received numerous awards and distinctions for his activities and achievements. Among others, he received the ‘The spear of the Yotvingians’ award from the Mayor of Suwalki in the ‘economic activity’ category, the Golden Statuette of the Polish Business Leader awarded by the Business Centre Club, and the title of Honorary Patron of Suwalki Sport for his activities in promoting sport in Suwalki. He was honoured with the title ‘Distinguished Service to the City of Suwalki’ in 2014.
