He is a well-known entrepreneur, social and sports activist in Podlasie, as well as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia in Poland. His life story is an example of consistent success built on hard work, openness and commitment to the development of the region.
He is an economist and manager by education – he completed his bachelor's degree at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw (currently Kozminski University), followed by a master's degree and postgraduate management studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. He put this knowledge into practice by founding Multi Trade Company in 1990, a wholesale alcohol trading company. The company quickly became one of the largest players in its industry in Poland, and Strzałkowski himself gained a reputation as an efficient and reliable entrepreneur.
However, before he became involved in business for good, in the second half of the 1980s, he ran a small cassette tape manufacturing company with a partner. He also lived in the United States for several years, returning in 1989 – the experience he gained overseas later helped him to develop a modern approach to management and investment.
One of the most important areas of Wojciech Strzałkowski's activity is sport. Since 2003, he has been the main shareholder and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sport Club Jagiellonia Białystok. His involvement has been of great importance for the development of the club – it was during his tenure that Jagiellonia made its way from the lower leagues to the Ekstraklasa, won the Polish Cup and Super Cup in 2010, and participated in European competitions. Strzałkowski makes no secret of the fact that sport is not only his passion, but also a tool for integration and promotion of the region.
At the same time, he is involved in social and economic activities. He is the president of the Podlasie Business Club, chairman of the Podlasie Entrepreneurship Council at the Marshal of the Podlasie Voivodship, and since 2021, he has headed the Financial Committee of the Polish Football Association. He is also the president of PZPN INVEST S.A. and financial advisor to the PZPN Management Board. As Honorary Consul of the Republic of Croatia, he represents the interests of that country in Podlasie and the Lublin Voivodship, contributing to the development of economic and cultural relations between Poland and Croatia.
Wojciech Strzałkowski was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit for his social and economic activities. He values honesty, patriotism and social responsibility. As he himself emphasises, he wants to ‘feel needed and helpful’ – both to the people he works with and to his small homeland, Podlasie.
