A lawyer by education, he graduated from the University of Warsaw. He has high qualifications and many years of experience in strategic consulting, management, marketing and corporate finance.

He managed the largest project of the British Know How Fund in Eastern Europe - the Polish-British Entrepreneurship Development Programme. He was a member of the supervisory boards of several companies. For 22 years, he was the President of the Management Board of the Podlaskie Regional Development Foundation – one of the largest regional development agencies in Poland – and co-founder of a regional guarantee fund and venture capital fund, which he managed since 1995.

Thousands of companies in Podlaskie region have benefited from his diverse support in their development.

He was a member of the Monitoring Committees of the PORPW, RPO (Operational Programme for Podlaskie Voivodeship), Norwegian and Swiss Mechanism Programmes.

Since 2006, he has been the Chairman of the Economic Councils to the Mayor of Bialystok and a member of the Entrepreneurship Council to the Marshal of Podlaskie Voivodeship.

He was the leading expert in the field of economics in the creation of the Bialystok 2020+ development strategy and the development strategy for the Bialystok Functional Area.

He has devoted his professional career to regional development, with particular emphasis on economic development.

Since 16 July 2024, he has been the President of the Management Board of a provincial company established to implement the strategic project ‘Agricultural Valley 4.0 Innovation Ecosystem’.

Since 10 July 2013, he has been the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Finland in Bialystok.
