He is the founder of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, of which he has been the President for years. At the same time, he chairs the Supervisory Board of the Warsaw Enterprise Institute, and since 2018 he has been the Vice-Chairman of the Social Dialogue Council.

He started his professional career as a sales director at Radio RMF FM. In 1997, he founded the training company Midwest ITSE, and in 2000, he opened the MMT Management agency. For many years he personally conducted hundreds of trainings in the field of sales, sales management and communication. From 2005 to 2014, he was a member of the Executive Board of the Adam Smith Centre.

In the 1980s, he acted as an underground publisher and conspirator, for which he was awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by the President of the Republic of Poland. He is the author of numerous articles on Poland, published both in the underground press and in the West. In addition, he was awarded the “Po Prostu’” SDP Prize for editing the magazine “Metrum’”
