Since 1 September 2020, she has been the Rector of the Białystok University of Technology. She is the first woman to hold this position in the 76-year history of the university. A graduate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences at the Białystok University of Technology.
President of the Polish Academic and Economic Forum since 2022.
Author of an effective strategy for the internationalisation of the Białystok University of Technology, the implementation of which has contributed to the significant development of various forms of international cooperation and increased recognition of the university.
Her scientific interests include the effectiveness of material and structural protection of building materials, the impact of active mineral additives on the properties of concrete, the use of composite reinforcement in concrete structures, and various aspects of structural durability.
Since 2009, she has been an expert at the National Centre for Research and Development; since 2016, she has been an expert at the Polish Accreditation Committee. Expert at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development since 2023.
In 2021, she was awarded the Builder's Laurel, and in 2023 she received the title of Polish Hercules 2022. Honorary Ambassador of the Podlaskie Province.
