President of the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe (CPMR) Baltic Sea Commission from Southwest Finland. As part of the CPMR the Baltic Sea Commission serves as a platform for EU policy-oriented cooperation, lobbying and think tank between regional authorities across the Baltic Sea Region. Together, Member Regions cooperate since 1996 for a more prosperous Baltic Sea Region.
