Piotr Bujak has over 25 years of experience in macroeconomic analysis and economic forecasting. Since 2016, he has served as Chief Economist and Director of the Economic Analysis Department at PKO Bank Polski. Previously, he held positions as Chief Economist for Poland at Nordea Markets, Senior Economist at Santander Bank Polska, and expert at the CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research foundation, where he participated in international research and advisory projects. He also gained experience through internships at BRE Bank, ING Barings, and the National Bank of Poland. He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw and has completed numerous courses on econometric modeling, forecasting, and the application of mathematical methods in financial markets (including programs at the Swiss Finance Institute in Geneva and Cambridge Econometrics). He is the author of several academic publications and numerous articles on economic topics. In his personal life, he is a father to two sons and a daughter. He attends Falubaz and Zastal matches at least once a season and has a keen interest in the historical topography of Warsaw.
