Prof. Tadeusz Trziszka is an animal scientist, food and nutrition technologist, and Professor of Agricultural Sciences associated with the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. He served as the Rector of the university from 2016 to 2020, and previously held positions as Vice-Rector for Development and International Cooperation, and Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation. He specializes in poultry and egg technology, particularly in process technologies and design for the egg industry, as well as food quality and safety. His scientific achievements include approximately 400 publications, including over 200 original creative papers, textbooks, monographs, and more than 50 patents and patent applications. Prof. Trziszka created the concept for the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster—an initiative connecting the science sector, food industry, biotechnology, and the biomedical field. He currently serves as the Chairman of the NUTRIBIOMED Cluster Council. His research activities included the OVOCURA project, which focused on the biomedical application of bioactive egg components. In 2019, he was awarded an honorary doctorate (doctor honoris causa) by the Wroclaw Medical University.
