Danuta Narbut graduated from university in 1994, earning a primary school teacher diploma from the Šiauliai Pedagogical Institute, and in 2004 she obtained a master's degree in pedagogical sciences (educational management) from the Vilnius Pedagogical University. In 2019, she received a doctoral degree (PhD) in pedagogical sciences in Białystok. From 1994 to 2007, she served as the principal of the Vaidotai school. Between 2007 and 2008, she worked as a senior specialist, and from 2015 to 2017, she was the deputy director of the administration of the Vilnius District Municipality. From 2008 to 2013, she headed a subdepartment of the Vilnius City Municipality. In the years 2011–2013, she worked as an assistant to MEP Waldemar Tomaszewski, and from 2013 to 2015, and again from 2017 to 2023, she served as the deputy director of the administration of the Vilnius City Municipality. Since 2023, she has been serving as the deputy mayor of the Vilnius City Municipality.
